On
par with reggae's leading women like Marcia Griffiths, Rita
Marley, and newcomer Diana King, Nana's career has been
littered with numerous awards, nominations, presentations
and recognition from such organizations as the Canadian
Black Music Association, the Canadian JUNO Awards. Her album,
" NANA McLean - COLLECTOR'S SERIES ", produced
by Jamaican ace, Donovan Jermaine, won the 1997 JUNO for
Best Reggae Recording. Nana's 90-minute world premiere concert
on Bravo television is a regular repeat programme.
NANA
is a first class performer, a powerful, emotional balladeer,
and a classic reggae singer with a bluesy R&B style.
She is Canada's reggae Diva and has performed across Canada,
the US and Africa. Her 2002 releases, " Love in Your
Heart" and " Gone Too Long" are heating up
the charts.
